Justify the choice of planned components by targeted media sector (M2)

Poster

The reason that I created the poster is to promote the product in a simplistic form whilst making it detailed, giving the customers a detailed insight into what they are buying. this poster can be used in magazines or online, making it a versatile piece of media. this poster could either go into a magazine or could be a billboard, however the magazine will be cost efficient as I won't have to spend as much.

The poster is very wordy, this is due to me wanting to describe the product and the ingredients that are in it. I sorted the ingredients into a list, this is so that I can be completely transparent with what's in the soap, the logo is at the top in big writing, this is for the brand recognition, with everything wanting to be put under a name that people will recognise and will associate with the ingredients.

I decided to show the packaging and the product separately, this is to give the soap a standout feature to it, by making it as stand out as possible, it ends up being clear what the customers getting. the packaging is also detailed in a natural setting, this is to make it feel more fresh and natural.

TV advert

I decided to go for the TV advert as it will be the main selling area for the product, as here I can catch and keep the viewers attention, then it will be more memorable than something on the radio for example.
the 20-30 second length of the advert is enough to make it as detailed as possible, as well as this I want to make it engaging, I can achieve this by using different footage that matches what they are saying on screen, for example when its speaking about the ingredients it also displays it on the screen, it will be really important to get the advert to an engaging level for the audience, as it will be the determining factor as to whether they will buy the product or not.
I also wanted a natural look to the advert, and so the natural setting at the end will give the audience a reason to think about this products as we display it directly to them.

Social media profile
I went for the social media profile as my third choice as it was simple yet hits exactly what the brand needs, especially in terms of reaching audience, as social media is a driver in todays advertising market, its a great idea to set up a page that will bring in a big audience, I could even use part of the actual advert for promo on the social media page. the social media page will also be great for creating a brand, this will be achievable by creating posts that will catch and keep a audience.
the amount of posts will differ per week, the first week I will aim to get around 7/8 posts out around one a day, just so I can keep the audience checking back to see what's new. in the 2nd week I will aim for around 6/7 posts, this is because the brand hopefully by then has slight traction to it and so it won't need as much attention on social media, however it is still around one a day, maybe with the exception of one.
